Disconnect a social or email account
In the HypeStax app, go to Settings → Connections and choose Disconnect. We delete the stored access tokens straight away and stop all publishing or sending through that account.
You can also remove HypeStax from the platform itself. For example, on Facebook go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, choose HypeStax and select Remove. When Facebook tells us you've removed the app, we automatically delete the data we received through it and give you a confirmation code, which you can check by contacting us.
Delete a workspace or your whole account
Workspace owners can ask us to delete a workspace, including its Business Brain, posts, media, connected accounts and outreach data. Email hello@hypestax.co.uk from the email address on the account, with the workspace name. A self-service delete button will be added to the app's settings.
What happens next
- We confirm your request within 2 working days.
- We delete the data from our live systems within 30 days.
- Backups roll off within a further 30 days.
- We keep only what the law requires, such as invoices and billing records (6 years).
If someone else's HypeStax workspace holds your data
If you received an email from a business using HypeStax and want your details removed, reply to that email using the opt-out link, or contact that business directly. You can also email us and we'll pass your request to them and add you to their suppression list.
